Entrance to the building
The main entrance is located in Piazza Mantegna, via an elevated pronaos with seven steps, equipped with handrails, on either side of the majestic façade.
There is an entrance that is accessible to all from Piazza Leon Battista Alberti, where there is a barrier-free pathway surfaced with tactile flooring for the visually impaired which makes it possible to reach the elevated level of the pronaos. Of the three doors present, the one on the left is equipped with a wooden ramp to overcome a step.
The main hall is completely level and free of architectural barriers, allowing the visit of the site and participation in the main religious services.
The lower crypt, containing the reliquary of the Precious Blood and the Sacred Vases, is only accessible via a steep and narrow staircase, meaning that it is not accessible to all.
The toilets are not accessible by people with disabilities (as indicated by law).
There are no additional facilities and no services to facilitate knowledge of the church by blind and visually impaired persons.
